Three times over the last three weeks I've been asked this question, "If you were hiring a middle school pastor, what is the one thing you would look for in that individual?" I couldn't come up one one, but landed on two...
1. Integrity and character above reproach.
2. An authentic love for middle school students.
Of course, skill set is up there, but I've come to the conclusion that a good chunk of that can be taught.

Yep - that would be my Top 2.
if i were asked that question, my answer would be: "the person has to remind me of Judy Gregory..."
