Jeanne Wisdom

Sat through my first Alliance leadership meeting today of our youth group (Oxygen). It was amazing. Here are a few of the Jeanne wisdom nuggets I took away from it.

1. Profound truth can be best understood through profound relationships.
2. Our loudest sermon is loving someone deeply.
3. There is a problem when you are busy in ministry, but not busy in Jesus.
4. The more you give into sin, the more Hell energizes it.
5. ______ is a choice (you can fill in a lot of blanks there).
6. No matter how much you liked or disliked Tammy Faye, she passed the adversity test. With her dying breath she was pointing people to and praising Jesus.
7. One of David's might ment was Ahithophel, which means my brother is foolish. He was one who ultimately betrayed David. The point is that even the greastest of Davids can put the wrong people up close to them - watch who you surround yourself with.
8. Friends are like elevators, they can take you up or down.
9. We entertain angels unaware.
10. She tipped her hand just a little on what she was speaking about at the closing session of the Assemblies of God General Council in August. It's a big deal - 30,000 of the denomination's key influencers from around the world in the RCA Dome. I'll save that for later.

Aaron, good to hear from you! I can't remember if she was talking figuratively or literally.

Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some people have entertained angels without knowing it.
